Quality Department

You may have heard that there is now a Quality Department in our company, so let’s break down what that means for a moment.

 

What’s Quality? Quality is about meeting the needs and expectations of customers.

 

To ensure customer satisfaction, standardize processes and improve quality, Lean Staffing Solutions has now opened the Quality Department.
Why this focus? A quality-oriented company culture values the characteristics of quality that the system measures and strives for continuous improvement.

 

We have started an organizational process, Quality Management System (QMS), which includes every function and employee to satisfy customer’s needs both internally and externally. This system works by continuously improving all aspects of work through structured control, improvement and planning activities. These are carried out by using an ideology that focuses on Quality and Customer Satisfaction as the top priorities. It also documents processes, procedures and responsibilities to achieve quality policies and objectives.

 

ISO, the International Organization for Standardization, is one of our targets! LSS is looking to be certified in ISO 9001:2015 during the next coming years. Yes, it is a long term goal and a very long process, but we are capable of achieving it. For that reason, we will soon be looking within the LSS staff for a Quality Assistant for our department. A person with knowledge in Quality Management Systems (known in our country as ‘Sistemas de Gestión de Calidad’) and other skills that will add effectiveness to our goals and value to our department.

 

What are the benefits? Implementing a quality management system affects every aspect of our organization’s performance. Two overarching benefits include:

  • Meeting the customer’s requirements, which helps to instill confidence in the organization, in turn leading to more customers and more sales.
  • Meeting the organization’s requirements, which ensures compliance with; regulations, provision of products and services in the most cost and resource-efficient manner, creating room for expansion, growth, and profit.

 


We will be serving many purposes including: improving process, reducing waste, lowering costs, facilitating and identifying training opportunities, engaging staff, setting organization-wide direction.

 

We have recently started projects for quality assurance and improvement with some of our clients such as: Arrive Accounting Dept, Arrive Tracking Dept, Clear Lane and others that are under development.
